From January 27 to 28, 2016, our company successfully held a technical exchange meeting with Bühler in our company’s conference room. The theme of this meeting was technical exchanges on mold design, casting system design, and temperature control system design, as well as gathering Bühler’s feedback and suggestions on our company’s technology development. Company leaders and core technical personnel attended the meeting.

Our company’s academician workstation project has been approved and officially launched.
The Guangdong Province Industry-University-Research Cooperation Academician Workstation project, titled “Guangzhou Mould Co., Ltd. of Guangzhou City—Integrated and Applied Digital Manufacturing Technology for High-end Large-scale Moulds,” undertaken by Guangzhou Mould Co., Ltd., in collaboration with the Shanghai Mold Technology Research Institute Co., Ltd. (National Engineering Research Center for Mold CAD) and the Institute of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering of the Guangdong Provincial Academy of Industrial Technology, has been approved by the Guangdong Provincial Department of Science and Technology. Relevant research work is currently underway in close coordination.

To implement the spirit of documents such as “Made in China 2025,” the “Guiding Opinions of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology on Accelerating the Strengthening of Industrial Foundations,” and the “Implementation Guidelines for the Industrial Foundation Strengthening Project (2016-2020),” and to promote the enhancement of industrial foundational capabilities, in accordance with the “Notice of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology on Launching the 2016 Special Action for Strengthening Industrial Foundations,” the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology has publicly tendered nationwide for 26 subcontracts under the 2016 Industrial Foundation Strengthening Project, focusing on the “four foundations”—critical basic materials, core basic components (parts and devices), advanced basic processes, and industrial technology foundations—that are urgently needed for major projects and key areas. This initiative aims to achieve breakthroughs in engineering and industrialization, consolidate the foundation for industrial development, and enhance the quality and efficiency of industrial growth. On June 3, 2016, the list of shortlisted candidates for the 2016 domestic public tender of the Industrial Foundation Strengthening Project was announced. Among numerous bidders, Guangzhou Xingqiang Mold Manufacturing Co., Ltd. stood out and, thanks to its leading comprehensive expert scoring, smoothly secured the qualification as a shortlisted candidate for Subcontract No. 10.

Recently, our company successfully completed the trial production of a die-casting mold for a two-cavity shock-absorber tower component developed for Guangdong Hongtu Technology Co., Ltd. This mold draws on the experience gained from similar German products in terms of structural design and mold design, as well as our company’s previous R&D experience in manufacturing two-cavity shock-absorber tower component die-casting molds for other brands. The mold features optimized high-vacuum structures, mold temperature control systems, and mold flow systems, and incorporates advanced manufacturing processes such as localized extrusion. The successful development of this mold will make a positive contribution to the lightweighting of domestically branded automobiles.
