Since its debut in 2007, the Asia International Mould & Die Exhibition—Guangzhou Edition has consistently been committed to meeting the demand of regional manufacturing enterprises for advanced mould-making technologies. As 3D printing technology becomes increasingly prevalent in the mould industry, the exhibition expanded its scope in 2013 to include additive manufacturing technologies. Coupled with displays of various precision moulds, stamping dies, die-casting and injection moulds, machine tools, cutting equipment, mould-making solutions, and prototyping services, the event provides a one-stop platform for the South China manufacturing sector to procure and exchange information on mould technologies.

In addition to the technology showcases, the exhibition also fosters the exchange of industry expertise through its concurrent events, driving advancements in additive manufacturing, automation, and other technologies that are reshaping the modern mold-making industry. Over the years, it has consistently earned high praise from all participating parties. As in previous years, a series of exciting and engaging concurrent forums will once again be held, bringing together industry experts, academics, and leading figures to demonstrate cutting-edge technologies, trends, and developments currently available in the market—helping manufacturers stay ahead in the race for industry advancement.

  Key meetings for 2025 include:

  3D Printing Mold Application Forum

This forum will explore the current and potential applications of additive manufacturing in mold production. Case studies and technical discussions will cover the use of 3D printing technology in areas such as rapid prototyping, production of mold inserts, and water-channel design, helping companies further reduce costs, improve efficiency, and enhance their overall competitiveness.

Smart Molding Industry Summit Forum – Digitalization Special Session for Molds

Organized by the Ho Ying-dong Institute of the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology in Guangzhou, this event will explore the application of automation and digitalization technologies in mold manufacturing. The speakers will delve into real-world applications in the mold and plastics industries, focusing on the themes of “digitalization, informationization, and precision.”

Smart Molding Industry Summit — Special Session on Two-Color/Multi-Color Mold Injection Molding

The two-color/multi-color injection molding theme will focus on exploring and exchanging ideas about the new trends, emerging opportunities, and cutting-edge technologies driving the development of the injection molding industry. The discussion will cover multiple sectors including automotive, medical, home appliances, and 3C electronics, providing attendees with breakthroughs in technology, fresh technical insights, networking opportunities, and resource-sharing platforms. Notably, two of the experts have each spent over 30 years deeply immersed in the mold-making industry and have been awarded the title of “Bao’an Master Craftsman” by Bao’an District, Shenzhen!

Smart Molding Industry Summit Forum – Special Session on Scientific Injection Molding

This forum invites industry experts to discuss the entire production process of scientific injection molding—from early product development all the way through to the final production stage. The topics will cover mold flow analysis, mold design and manufacturing, and injection molding processes, with a particular focus on mitigating early-stage risks, controlling key process parameters and production performance, and enhancing enterprises’ multiple competitive capabilities.

In addition to the Asia International Mould & Die Exhibition—Guangzhou Station, visitors can also participate in two other concurrent exhibitions: the Guangzhou International Smart Manufacturing Technology and Equipment Expo, which will showcase cutting-edge solutions for automation and digital manufacturing; and the Guangzhou Industrial Technology Expo, which will feature a wide range of smart industrial technologies. This triple-exhibition format allows visitors to explore complementary technologies across all three events and discover digital and automation solutions that can enhance their companies’ overall competitiveness.
