On July 28, 2023, the Guangdong Province Machinery Industry Association convened a scientific and technological achievement appraisal meeting in Guangzhou, organized by Xingqiang. A panel of seven experts jointly appraised the project titled “Highly Integrated One-Step Die Casting and Key Technologies for Ultra-Large Molds, and Their Application in New Energy Vehicles,” which was jointly completed by Guangzhou Xingqiang Mold Manufacturing Co., Ltd. and South China University of Technology, among other institutions.
On July 28, 2023, the Guangdong Provincial Machinery Industry Association convened a scientific and technological achievement appraisal meeting at the Xingqiang Organization in Guangzhou. A panel of seven experts jointly conducted the appraisal. The meeting was chaired by Li Ying, Deputy Secretary-General of the Guangdong Machinery Industry Association. Also in attendance were Professor Ruan Feng from the Guangdong Mould Industry Association, Professor Wei Xingzhao from the Guangdong Heat Treatment Association, Professor Cheng Taobo from the Institute of Intelligent Manufacturing at the Guangdong Academy of Sciences, Senior Engineer He Xiangji from the China National Research Institute of Electrical Appliances, Professor Liu Qiang from Guangdong University of Technology, Professor Lu Qinghua from Foshan University of Science and Technology, and Professor Wu Weibin from South China Agricultural University.
Ye Neng, Deputy General Manager of Guangzhou Xingqiang; Wu Yaorong, Chief Engineer; Zhou Xiwan, Quality Director; He Chiling, R&D Manager; Xiao Weixiong, Plant Manager of the Heat Treatment Facility; and Zheng Guilin, Deputy Production Manager, attended the meeting together.

The attending experts listened to the project report, reviewed the evaluation materials, inspected the production site, and posed detailed questions about the innovative aspects. After deliberation, the appraisal committee concluded that this achievement is highly innovative and possesses independent intellectual property rights. The overall technology is at an internationally advanced level, and the committee approved its passing of the scientific and technological achievement appraisal.
