On June 28, Li Tao, Deputy Chief Engineer of the Technical Center of Dongfeng Motor Group Co., Ltd., Qu Liang, Chief Engineer Wang Zezhong, along with a team of experts from Dongfeng (Wuhan) Industrial Co., Ltd. and Dongfeng Design Research Institute Co., Ltd., visited our company for an inspection and research trip. 12,000-Ton Superintelligent Die Casting Unit Joint R&D Cooperation Agreement
On January 22, 2022, Guangxing Mould signed a “Joint R&D Cooperation Agreement for the 12,000-ton Super Smart Die-Casting Unit” with Guangdong Hongtu Company, LK Tech Group Co., Ltd., and Guangdong Hongjin Metal Aluminum Industry Co., Ltd. Together, they will collaborate on the development of a 12,000-ton (ton) super smart die-casting unit, further enhancing the company’s capabilities in developing ultra-large integrated die-casting molds. On January 17, 2022, the country’s first ultra-large 6,800-ton integrated aluminum alloy die-casting structural component mold was successfully trial-produced at Hongtu Technology. The mold was independently developed by Guangxing Mould and weighs over 140 tons. The successful trial production of this project marks Guangxing Mould as the first domestic enterprise to master the technology for developing and debugging ultra-large integrated structural component molds. Taking this milestone as a starting point, Guangxing Mould will embark on the R&D and manufacturing of molds for key lightweight components—such as the integrated front compartment assembly, intermediate panels, rear floor panels, and door panels—for new-energy vehicles, thereby making a significant contribution to the development of China’s new-energy vehicle industry.
